Dappled Willow

SKU: LMN11337797

Salix integra 'Hakuro Nishiki'

The Dappled Willow is a stunning shrub that will add color and interest to any garden. With its pink leaves that mature into variegated shades of pink, white, and green, this plant is a beautiful sight in the spring and summer months. As it transitions into fall, the leaves turn a vibrant yellow, creating a beautiful autumnal display.

To maintain its beautiful appearance, it is recommended to prune the Dappled Willow as needed in late winter to early spring. By doing so, you can encourage more vigorous growth and improve the red branch color for winter, as the newest growth is often the reddest. Many gardeners choose to prune back the stems each year to ensure that their Dappled Willow remains healthy and vibrant.

In coldest reions (Zones 4 and 5) only the new growth will turn coral red.

In warmer regions the entire length of branches will turn coral red.
