Native to eastern and central North America, this exceptional redbud features heart-shaped, deep purple foliage so dark it appears almost black. The leaves maintain their rich color throughout summer before turning a vibrant yellow-chartreuse in fall. In early spring, striking lavender-pink flowers emerge before the foliage. Note: It does not transplant well, so careful site selection is essential.
